Tabebuia yellow

Yellow or Golden Trumpet trees.

1. Tabebuia chrysotricha.
A popular street tree up to 10 m high.

There are yellow-brown hairs on the young branches and leaves.
Leaves, on long petioles, have 5 ovate to obovate leaflets with pointed tips.
They are partly toothed.

Large terminal clusters of yellow flowers appear before the leaves.

2. Tabebuia aurea.
Synonyms are Tabebuia argentea and Tabebuia caraiba.
The flowers are yellow and the foliage can be a silvery colour.
