Tabebuia pink

Tabebuia rosea.

This is one of the Pink Trumpet trees available Australia the other being Tabebuia heterophylla.

A rough barked tree to 27 m high sometimes with buttressed trunks.

Leaves with 3 to 7 (1 or 9) pointed, oval, leaflets with scales.
Leaflets have smooth edges and the lowest pair are smaller.

The pink calyx is spathe-like with 2 lips but occasionally 3 to 5 lobes.
Flowers are pale pink (sometimes white) with a white or yellow throat.

It is a variable species.
